The idea of stagnation and languishing sounds terrible; however, the magickal reasoning of each word translates more toward hibernation and psychic storage than that of doom and gloom. This is actually a time for temporary submission instead of action. The negative connotation of this aspect of the Theban example may translate to a spiritual winter, where there is a temporary hindrance to growth. Now is the time for restraint and learning instead of skirmish or conflict. Like Dr. Forman, you may be involved in a situation in which accusations and implications exist. This may be a time when you feel the most vulnerable and powerless. This is acceptable now, as fighting what faces you will only hold you back, while your peers and contemporaries advance. This is not a time to compete with those who would see you fail in your good endeavors. Stand tall now, but think before you act.

Now is the time to show patience and to continue on your current path. Sadly, there are those who choose to savor another's torment, whose low self-esteem demands some form of compensation for the achievements of their resented victims. Remember the path Dr. Forman took in his professional life. It may have been turbulent and unwise due to some of his choices, but it was his reverence for the health and life of others that made him stand out among his peers, not the negative hearsay that his detractors had created about him.

This is a time of hibernation and self-contemplation. A cycle of development must occur before you advance in any direction. As such cycles must take place before birth or rebirth, now is your time to concentrate on the behavior of others and to inwardly surmise the possible motives and wishes others may have for you without becoming mistrustful. This is a time for deep and soulfully pensive thought. If you're living a good and honest life, then simply stay on course. Though uncouth and envious people may seemingly advance ahead of you, in the end, you will win the race with a clear conscience.
